Falcon Pro was always one of the Twitter clients for Android reference; until the limitation of tokens forced it to leave the Google Play Store. But they say that old rockers never die and Falcon Pro is a perfect example, as the popular application has returned to the Google Play Store with a vengeance . It has done as Falcon Pro 3 and fully dressed in Material Design.

The first thing we find completely different is the price. Now Falcon Pro is free initially, but with in-app purchases (about 3.4 € / $ 4 per account) . Why? Basically, to avoid reaching the limit again tokens for application downloads pirate. This way you can download alternative Falcon Pro from any website, but when open the application, you will be required to go through the payment gateway of Google Play if you want to use its features.

Another of the highlights is obviously redesign using the guidelines of Material Design. Its developer has achieved a perfect balance between simplicity and beauty , something few have achieved in the Android platform. In fact, the few minutes that I have spent testing the application, I have been convinced that this design is the best of all existing Twitter clients for Android.

The downside or rather, partially negatively is that Falcon Pro 3 still has very few features : You can not delete tweets, you can not make adjustments to UI, you can not send direct messages … etc. However, seeing the trajectory of its developer, it seems almost certain that all these features will be coming soon with new updates.

For now, we are left with the good taste of this wonderful interface with the speed of implementation and above all, hoping that, finally, Falcon Pro will become the definitive Twitter client that we have been waiting to see on the Android platform . The foundation that has seem solid, now it’s time to polish it slowly, until the perfect shape.Or what is the same: to incorporate all these missing features, polish small details of design and offer good support over time.
